Fish fingers with mashed potatoes
A children's favourite: crispy fish fingers with homemade mash, green peas and lemon.

- 1 kgPotato, floury
- 2 dlMilk
- 2 tbspButter
- 300 gGreen peas, frozen
- 1Lemon, in wedges

Method
- Heat the oven to 225°C. Peel the potatoes, cut them into even pieces and put them on to boil in salted water.
- Boil the potatoes until soft, about 18 minutes.
- Lay the fish fingers on a lined baking tray and bake for 12–15 minutes, turning them halfway.
- Cook the peas in lightly salted water for 2–3 minutes and drain.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with hot milk and butter. Season with salt.
- Serve the fish fingers with the mash, peas and lemon wedges.
