Taco night
Swedish-style Friday tacos: seasoned mince, crunchy vegetables and all the toppings on the table.

Ingredients for 4 portions
- 500 gBeef mince
- 1 tbspRapeseed oil
- 30 gTaco seasoning, 1 packet
- ≈ 1 ½ dlWater
- 8Tortillas
- 8Taco shells
On the side
- ½Lettuce, iceberg
- 3Tomatoes
- ½Cucumber
- 200 gSweetcorn, drained
- 100 gGrated cheese
- 2 dlSour cream
- 250 gTaco sauce, 1 jar, mild
Method
- Heat the oven to 200°C. Brown the mince in the oil in a large frying pan over high heat, breaking it up with a spatula.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and the water.
- Simmer uncovered over low heat for about 10 minutes, until most of the liquid has cooked away.
- Shred the lettuce and dice the tomatoes and cucumber. Drain the sweetcorn. Put everything in bowls.
- Warm the taco shells, and the tortillas wrapped in foil, in the oven for 4–5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, put out the grated cheese, sour cream and taco sauce in bowls.
- Put everything on the table and let everyone build their own tacos.
